I'll give a few spoilers now, and more to come if this gets the support it needs to make it all the way to Nintendo...



For starters, the concept is from the end of Ocarina of Time; Zelda sends link back so he can reclaim his childhood and live his own life. which leads to the beginning of Majora's mask.

but what if... link took her words to heart and forced himself to forget all about being the hero of time?! :O
